IMG ARENA to Power PointsBet with Live Content

PointsBet, one of the fastest-growing sportsbooks, announced a new deal with IMG ARENA, a sports data and tech hub for sports. As per the agreement, IMG ARENA will power PointsBet’s offerings with over 40,000 premium games fans can watch anytime.

IMG ARENA Will Provide PointsBet with On-Demand Live Content

The two-year partnership will see IMG ARENA leverage its impressive live streaming content portfolio to provide PointsBet’s users with rich on-demand sports content.

Fans will be able to access a total of 25,000 tennis games and 10,000 ATP Challenger Tour matches. This addition comes amid a fast rise of interest in professional tennis. For example, PointsBet has remarked a whopping 163% increase in tennis handle and a 189% increase in live handle. Because of this, the company wants to answer fans’ demands and introduce more tennis content to its platform.

The new live content will be accessible to all PointsBet players who have funded accounts. The operator’s offerings are currently available in ten US jurisdictions. Four of those markets have access to the company’s online offerings as well. The latter include Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

The New Content Will Help PointsBet Cement Its Leadership Position

PointsBet’s chief executive officer for the USA, Johnny Aitken, spoke about the new deal. He emphasized that offering on-demand streaming content is “paramount” to providing fans with a superior betting experience.

Aitken noted that PointsBet is recognized as “the home of in-play betting.” The partnership with IMG ARENA will help the company solidify this leadership position.

We’re thrilled to tap into innovative concepts like this to improve the live betting experience for our users, all while bringing forth new ways to increase fan engagement throughout the year.
